Some of it was planned, some spontaneous and some surprising. There were so many hours of excellence I couldn’t believe it was one weekend. Ocean swimming, delicious food, fun with friends, favourite band in concert, ridiculous partying, amazing scenery, trying new things, heaps of coffee. And along the way Nad wondered whether we should do white water rafting and a hot air balloon ride too. Living for the moment anyone???

The Serpentine Lido opened for full time swimming today – it’s been open weekends only up to now – so I went to test the waters. Situated in London’s expansive Hyde Park the Serp is a man made lake that’s really well kept with lots of facilities for snacking, sitting, rowing, and of course just park hanging. There’s always a lot of people walking, chilling, running, heaps of dogs & children, it’s busy and nice. The swimming area is on the south side, it’s marked by buoys and serviced by …
