Like most people I write about what interests me, what I’m passionate about. The categories, tags and ‘viewed’ menus should help you through the material. ‘Goss’ is the fun stuff that doesn’t fit elsewhere. The ‘Gallery’ is the extra photos that I wanted to include. ‘Work’ includes not-for-profit or voluntary work that I do, as well as my actual job.

Some of the extra things that I am passionate about but haven’t yet found space for on lucyjjames are:

  • second hand book shops
  • olives and olive oil
  • grammar (especially apostrophes)
  • montages
  • Glee, Flight of the Conchords, The Inbetweeners, Sex in the City, and Gavin & Stacey
  • lychee martinis
  • Liz Earle products
  • Formula One

One day I might figure out a way to include them.

Thanks for reading, I look forward to your comments. And although I may be brushing Gen Y, I don’t want to over expose anyone, so if there’s material or photos about you that you’d prefer isn’t on here, just let me know.

You can get me through this site and any of the social media connections on the Links list at bottom right of the page.

    Hi Lucy,

Re your time at baan san fan orphange

I am thinking of volunteering for a few days at baan san fan orphanage next year with my 11 year old daughter and wanted to find out if you think it would be suitable for us. Is it possible to ask you a few questions please – if you have the time. Many thanks. Jane x
