Cirque du Soleil

Cirque_du_SoleilLots has already been said about this remarkable show, I only have a few things to add… I expected some strange body work (tick), I expected athleticism (this was superhuman), and I expected high risk (it was heart stopping). What I hadn’t expected were the beautiful, clever and funny elements of the show. The enchanting sprite invites you to join the festival of the sun, so you do, and you spend the next few hours mesmerised by the colour, movement, music and wit of this wonderful world.

My favourite act of this production was the uni cyclist with his gymnast partner. This divided the audience. The boys saw a guy doing cool bike tricks with a chick in a leotard. The girls saw a beautiful love story between two lost souls. A ha ha. Either way the choreography was gorgeous, the use of props and each other was incredibly clever and the wow moments were really wow.

This was my first time at the Royal Albert Hall as well. Gosh, what a beautiful place, there’s so much to take in, and the seats were super comfortable. When Cirque du Soleil do another production you really must go, especially if you’re a doubter (I was), and if it’s at the RAH again then you have to go , even if you’re a hater!

Happy weeks peeps xLuce
