Isabel Allende, “Of Love And Shadows”

Of Love And ShadowsBlimey, Allende’s a genius. She’s a Latin D.H.Lawrence, a modern Garcia Marquez, a less fictitious Ruiz Zafon. This story weaves together the lives of different families that span distinct class, political and religious preferences. And as she weaves the story, she also plaits with history, nature and compassion, the reader is gently educated, soothed and encouraged. It’s masterful.
She’s written more (thank all the gods) and ‘they’ say this is not her best. Stay tuned…

Lay it on me... is this neat or nerd..??
